Bobby Cook -- I think I remember you and I think one of the photos I have is of you (on the floor during competition - shhh!!) I remember some of your fellow members -- Chelsea (she had a crewcut with some long strands of bleach blonde hair in the front), and there was a woman with dark brown/black hair with light colored streaks in the front, and I remember a really tall and skinny guy with a very tan complexion and dark curly hair. And I believe a very good looking Latino guy marched with you -- his name was Ozzy. Is this right???
I was not a Fusilier, but I was a Fusilier "fan" back in the day! I belonged to a competing guard from Rutgers University (RU KnightRaiders) and I marched from 1983 to 1986 (when we folded). I know I took photos of the Fusliers where they wore light orange satin jackets and a white unitard underneath. If I could find them, I will definitely post them here!! They also used huge turquoise "fans" at the end of their show. Their music that season was by SHADOWFAX (on their album - "The Dreams of Children"). The opening song of the Fusiliers show was "The Big Song" and the closer was "Another Country". Both are on YouTube!!
I instructed Fusiliers in the comeback year, 1985 I believe it was. I don't have any video of it though. I wish I did. If you are talking about the year they scored a 26 at Black Watch's show and a 96 in Wildwood that was the year. They also received Most Improved Color Guard that year.
