Walking away only to find your way back!!!

I started teaching color guard in the fall of 1996. I had marched for 3 years previous to that. After 11 years of teaching, in the winter season of 2007 I decided to take some time off of teaching color guard. Now I have tried to "take time off" before, with no success. However, this time I actually did it. Only now I'm finding myself trying to find my way back in.

As you can imagine, this is the crazy time, but everything is going well. The Indiana team is coming near the end with District next week but BOA is just gettin started so still plenty of work to be done. Hope you are well - you sound to be.

Hey there....Thanks for the message. First off...We only accept ``embedded`` videos. We can not approve any video unless it comes from YouTube,myspace,google. There is a difference between uploading a video....and embedding a video. To upload....uses our space...embeding uses none of our space.....but allows video linked to our site. Here are the steps to embed !!

1) upload to YouTube
2) copy cut & paste ``embed code``
3)go to CGHS go to video section
4)click ``add video``
5) Look for Google/YouTube Logo`s and click on it !
6)paste code from YouTube into white box !
7) Save and add Video information !
8) add more videos ! Feel free to ask me to call you and I will walk you through it ! Thanks, Patrick

Hello there Portquads.....Patrick here.......... So glad to have you as a member of our site ... Thank you for adding your voice and name to our project. Please enjoy the site !! . SPREAD THE WORD !! Welcome to our new & unique colorguard network . Our goal here is to have the history of colorguard/winterguard unfold with everyones voices and input. We want each active & non-active colorguard to have their own history page where members, former members,alumni,instructors & fans can post facts and the history of each guard. As you can imagine....this is a long term project. We are in search of current & former Directors , Members of any of the units so we can turn control of group over to them to run and update. We have started to create groups.....but will delete our temporary set-up as people step forward and request group control. Just click on name.......and Group page should open....and if it doesn`t open.....just click on ``GROUP`` along top of page. Please bare with us as we set this up. Take advantage of the widgets you can add like on facebook....myspace.....etc...etc and have fun. You can embed personal pictures with Flickr (flickr.com) to your personal page (up to 200 with free account)......We encourage embedding colorguard video`s from outside websites (YouTube).....saves our space for historical pictures. . Only Historical Colorguards will be approved for main CGHS slide show..... all others if submitted will be added to our ``Personal Faces & Memories Picture Show `` by our upgraded Flickr account. So many ways to have fun with your personal page. Once again we suggest that your personal pictures be added with third-party widgets.....ex.AOL PICTURES , Flickr )...If you want a personal slideshow. Remember together we all have a say in our activities history ! If you know any history....like who instructors were and what year`s the guard was active.....awards....etc....etc.....please submit to ``Groups`` page. Also you can post your Marching/Teaching Resume` on your home page !! Thanks for joining.....and lets make history fun !!
